This response center is the result, a place where supporters of STT-NWA and our men and women
in uniform, can come to read messages from the front line units, as well as
see photos of them enjoying those care packages you, our STT-NWA supporters, helped raise.
Unit responses will be posted by their Unit Designation!!!

We received word from Major Adams of the 297th Military Intelligence today that the care packages have begun to arrive at their base. Adams' family friend Dionne Bennett told us today that Major Adams emailed family to let them know the boxes were arriving, and that pictures were being taken. We will post further information along with the pictures as we receive them.

It is 1430 hours today, Friday 24june. I just received a phone call from Paul Barker, the father of PFC Jason Barker with the 3-7 INF. The shipment of 57 boxes arrived this morning at their base. Jason told his dad that his unit had just returned from a rough patrol to find all the boxes waiting for them. Jason told his Dad that his unit was "simply overwhelmed" by the support and generosity of the people of Northwest Arkansas. Several pictures were taken, and are now on their way back to Jason's parents via "snail mail," the military's nickname for the postal service. Unfortunately, their digital camera broke on them so the pictures were all taken on a disposable camera. As soon as the Barker's receive the camera, they assurred me they would get me the pictures ASAP. So, stay tuned for pictures of the soldiers receiving their supplies.
