"Something From Home"

I chose this picture as the header for the last page, because it so powerfully
shows just how much our men and women overseas in Iraq
and Afghanistan enjoy getting mail, hearing from loved ones, and knowing
the public here in America really cares about what happens to them.
These men and women are my heroes. To all of
you who have donated supplies, money, and especially
your time and energy, thank you.

Your heroes in my book as well.

Sincerely,
David Williams  Chairman STT-NWA
And the end is in sight.   After the late-night hours comes
the early morning -- the time to look back with
amazement at what the communities of Southwest Missouri,
Northeast Oklahoma, and Northwest Arkansas can accomplish when people join forces
for a worthwhile cause.
THANK YOU to Tom Mertz, Dwain Asbill, Jim Thomas, and Nou Xiong  --
part of the Broiler Tech Team at Simmons
Foods
in Siloam Springs who handled the loading, and transporting
of all
189 boxes of care packages to the US Post Office
here in Siloam Springs on Tuesday morning, June 07, 2005.

Here are some closing pictures from Tuesday morning, as the guys loaded everything up.
Debbie has seen one too many
boxes of Girl Scout
Cookies!!!
Lined up waiting for the Service Tech Express
A meeting of the
minds???
Are you really sure that
is going to fit??
According to Jim, that box
should go there . . . .
Who volunteered us for this,
& why did we agree???
WOW!!!!!
Look what I found!!!
If we could just get that guy
to move, we could be at
the Post Office!!!!
