STT-NWA Labor Day 2006 Care Package Drive Results
Well, the Labor Day 2006 Care Package drive has come to a close and once again, the Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and Southwest Missouri communities continue to impress us here at STT-NWA.  Once again, our communities have simply overwhelmed us with your generous giving and support of our men and women in uniform.  Here are the final numbers for what you, the general public in the tri-state region, have contributed to ensure our men & women fighting for their
country are taken care of.

STT-NWA is pleased to announce that we have collected
3,270 pounds of donations for the Labor Day 2006 Care Package Drive.  Yes, once again, our supporters have donated over 1 1/2 TON of supplies and donations, make this our 5th straight drive to earn such a distinction!!!  We mailed out some 308 cases of donated supplies to 5 units all serving in Iraq, Kuwait or Kosovo.  Those units were the following:

142nd Field Artillery, 1st BN, Alpha Battery -- Bentonville
142nd Field Artillery, 1st BN, Bravo Battery  --  Springdale
142nd Field Artillery, 1st BN, Charlie Battery  --  Rogers
142nd Field Artillery, 2nd BN, Bravo Battery  --  Siloam Springs
310th PYSOPS Unit  --  Fayetteville & Siloam Springs

To learn more about these units, just CLICK HERE . . . . . . . . .

As in the past, we will be receiving pictures shortly from our adopted units.  As soon as these pictures arrive from the front, they will be posted here on the website so that everyone can see just how much our men and women in uniform enjoy these shipments.  You will be able to view these pictures by clicking on the link that was provided above for more information on the units we are supporting, and look under the unit designation . . .  Example -- 142nd Field Artillery, 2nd BN Bravo Battery
