SHIPPING DONATIONS!!!!
Support The Troops - NWA is currently HOLDING SEVERAL SHIPMENTS of CARE PACKAGES that our soldiers desperately need!!!!
We currently have A STORAGE UNIT BUSTING AT THE SEAMS with donated items waiting to be sent over to Iraq and Afghanistan. However, we do NOT have the shipping funds needed to ensure these products reach our soldiers.
Raising monetary funds to cover the shipping costs for each care package drive is a critical part of our care packages drives here at STT-NWA. Each Care Package Drive STT-NWA conducts requires somewhere around $9,000 - $11,000 to cover shipping expenses. Some people assume that the US government or military pays for these expenses. THEY DO NOT!!!! That responsibility falls squarely upon STT-NWA.
While we are actively seeking corporate sponsorships, they alone will not cover all the costs. We need the NWA Community to get involved. There is no such thing as "too small" or "too large" of a donation. Give what you can. Whether it be $1.00 or $100.00 or greater, every penny will be greatly appreciated and will be used directly towards defraying the shipping costs of sending these care packages overseas to the men and women of Northwest Arkansas currently serving in uniform..
We ARE a 501 (c) (3) Public Charity determined by the IRS, so that means that ALL donations
are TAX-EXEMPT from State & Federal Taxes.
So. how can people donate towards this financial need? Well there are three very convenient ways for you to get involved. First, if you would like to make an online donation using your VISA or Mastercard, simply click on the "VISA/Mastercard" logos you see at the top and bottom of this page. This will redirect you to the PAYPAL website where you can securely make your donation. However, if you do not feel comfortable making an online donation, or wish to donate via CASH or Personal Check, we can you covered there as well. Simply go to either Metropolitan National Bank, and ask to make a donation to the Support The Troops - NWA Account, Account # 0284041, or go to ANY Arvest Bank location and tell the teller you wish to make a deposit to the "Support The Troops - NWA Donation" account. That account number is: 11729325. The tellers at either bank branch will be glad to assist you in that, and EVERY PENNY will be used to defray transportation costs of bringing the soldiers home. If there is not an Arvest Bank location near you, simply mail us your donation. Please make your check out to "Support The Troops - NWA" and note on the check this donation is for shipping costs.
