IN MEMORIUM
Bill Green of Simmons Foods, Inc.
(Siloam Springs, AR  February 02, 2005)

Support The Troops-NWA (STT-NWA) received more hard news this week when we learned that one of our key supporters, Bill Green of Fayetteville, AR passed away on January 28, 2005.  Bill has been one of our staunchest supporters since the beginning of Support The Troops-NWA (STT-NWA) back in the early months of 2003.  Always faithful, Bill was one of the very first to step forward in support of our care package drives, and was also a key financial supporter; never expecting any recognition for his efforts.  Without people like Bill, STT-NWA would cease to exist.

William (Bill) Green, 50, of Fayetteville died January 28, 2005 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.  He was born on December 10, 1954.  Bill moved to the Northwest Arkansas area 10 years ago from Rowlett, Texas.  He worked as a telecommunications analyst for Simmons Foods of Siloam Springs, AR and served faithfully with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Troop B.

Bill was survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Gregory Green of Fayetteville; his mother Shirley Marie Green of Edmond, OK; and by one sister, Mary Ann Murias of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

We at Support The Troops-NWA join the Simmons Foods family in offering our deepest throughts and well wishes to the Green family during their time of loss.  Bill will be truly missed by those whose lives he touched during his time among us.

If you would like to honor the memory of Bill Green, the family requests that you make donations in Bill's name to your favorite charity.
